Rand was silent for a minute. \u201cFine, Dakota,\u201d he said. \u201cI love you like a daughter, but I promise you that if you stick your nose back into this I will have you up on obstruction charges.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“I mean it, Dakota,\u201d Rand said. \u201cButt. The Hell. Out.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
And he hung up, leaving me and the blue bomb sailing into Midtown in near silence.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
